This year, National Wildlife Refuge Week will be observed October 10-16. Amateur Radio operators will spread the word about the refuge system on air October 9-17.

W5NWR will operate from the Caddo Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Texas, Friday Oct. 15 to Sunday Oct. 17. Normal special event frequencies of opportunity on SSB and RTTY. QSL with SASE via NA5U.
